Resource Requirements
The Vestec Speech Engine is based on a client-server architecture that can scale to support several dozen ports, given appropriate computational resources.
The following table presents test results of the Linux version of our speech engine. The test was performed on a machine with Intel Pentium D 2.80GHz CPU and 1GB RAM running Debian 5 OS. The grammar contained 500 keywords. The audio processed was 1.6 seconds long. Each test ran for 140 seconds, with each interaction taking 14 seconds.
