The Vestec Speech Engine represents excellent value for enabling speech recognition on a variety of platforms for SMB and Enterprise applications. The engine is priced at only $99 per port; the license is perpetual and includes first year maintenance as well as installation support. From second year onwards, optional engine maintenance (comprising patches and upgrades) can be purchased for an annual fee of $15/port.

Given its good recognition accuracy and sophisticated features, the low price of Vestec speech engine enables the buyer to realize potential savings of up to several hundred dollars per port in comparison with conventional options. In addition, the buyer stands to save significant amounts annually from lower maintenance fees of the Vestec speech engine.

NOTE: The $99 price for one port of Vestec speech engine must not be confused with low-price introductory packages from other vendors. These promotions are highly restrictive, one-time offers and generally do not constitute a full-function speech engine.
