The Vestec Speech Engine has been designed as a powerful, low-cost alternative to conventional high-priced options for most SMB (Small Medium Business) and Enterprise applications.

It delivers robust recognition accuracy, supports standards-based grammar writing, is speaker and hardware independent, runs on Linux and Windows operating systems, provides a scalable client-server architecture, comes with American English acoustic model, is applicable to a variety of call-routing and self-service applications, can be easily integrated with Asterisk, and retails for a fraction of the cost of conventional speech recognition engines.

The engine price includes free first-year maintenance and installation support. From 2nd year onwards, engine maintenance (covering patches and upgrades) can be purchased on an optional bases for a small annual fee. Additional support – such as, product training, speech grammar writing, application development, voice interface design, system integration, best practices consulting, and general trouble-shooting – is also available from Vestec for separate fees.
