Vocabulary Size

The Vestec Speech Engine has been designed to support a wide variety of grammar vocabulary sizes. (Vocabulary size refers to the number of distinct terms – words or digits – that can be recognized by the speech engine for a particular application).

Our current Standard Edition engine supports 500 vocabulary items per recognition. This is sufficient for most speech applications.

We are working on development of Deluxe and Ultimate editions of the engine that will support 5,000 and 10,000 keyword vocabulary sizes, respectively.
